In 1991 a family business dedicated to the production of melon and watermelon for export was born. For more than 30 years we have been concerned with delivering the best-quality fruits to our customers. And we have achieved it thanks to knowledge, experience, good agricultural practices, our facilities, agricultural technical team y well trained staff. The certifications obtained and our satisfied customers confirm this.
At Melopen we take care of the environment, which is why we were awarded four stars by the Ecological/Agricultural Blue Flag program. A program focused on raising environmental awareness and promoting good agricultural practices.
For 7 years, agrochemicals have been replaced with the use of biologicals in order to make our activity more sustainable. Such has been the success that for 2 years our melon and watermelon soils have been free of pesticides and we have reduced the use of chemical products by 60%.
