Our History
In 1991, a family business dedicated to the production of melons and watermelons for export was born. For over 30 years, we have been committed to delivering excellent quality fruits to our customers, thanks to our knowledge, experience, and good agricultural practices.
We have modern facilities, a highly trained agricultural technical team, and dedicated staff. The certifications obtained and the satisfaction of our customers confirm our commitment to excellence.
Certifications and Sustainability
At Melopen, we are committed to caring for the environment. For this reason, we have been awarded four stars by the Blue Flag Ecological/Agricultural program, which focuses on raising environmental awareness and promoting good agricultural practices.
Seven years ago, we began replacing agrochemicals with biological products produced in our own facilities, with the aim of making our activities more sustainable.
Thanks to these efforts, for the past two years, the soils of our farms have been free of pesticides, and we have reduced the use of chemical products by 60%.

Cultivation Fields
Over 300 hectares in production. Proudly reducing chemical load in the soil by 30%, we use our biological products to strengthen and regenerate our lands with microorganisms.
Packing Plant
Our plant meets all hygiene and safety requirements and is equipped in the best possible way.
Greenhouse
All the care a seedling needs, the best substrate, and an irrigation system suitable for its development.
Laboratory and Biofactory
We produce our biological inputs to reduce the chemical load in maize, rice, melon, and watermelon crops. Production is adjusted to the needs of each crop in our laboratories.
Sizer
Our sizer is an automated system for selecting melons by weight and size, designed to ensure maximum precision and efficiency. Thanks to the cutting-edge technology used in our sizer, we can quickly process large volumes of melons, reducing handling time and improving productivity across the entire supply chain.
